It almost never starts on a clean flat panel. It starts where the protection has already been broken: a stone chip on the leading edge of the bonnet, a scratch through to metal on a door edge, the seams and welds under the sills, the lip inside a wheel arch, and the drain holes at the bottom of a door once they block with leaf litter.

All three use the same technology. The only difference is how much coverage your vehicle needs. For most passenger cars the 2 Pad System is a great choice. The 4 Pad System suits larger vehicles, 4WDs and occasional beach or coastal use. For anything that regularly lives around salt air, sand and boat ramps, the 6 Pad System gives the highest level of coverage.

It depends on how the car lives. A garaged commuter that never sees sand is at far less risk than a 4WD that tows a boat. Coastal salt air is a genuine accelerant though, and the cars that suffer most are the ones where a stone chip or a blocked drain went unnoticed for a couple of years.
No, and we would not sell it that way. It is one layer. Fixing chips early, rinsing the underbody after salt exposure and keeping the drains clear do more for a car than any single product, including ours.
Not with a device. Surface rust that has already started needs to be physically dealt with, and bubbling paint or perforation means panel work. We will look at it and tell you honestly what you are facing rather than sell you something that cannot help.
They resist it much better than older ones thanks to galvanised panels and better factory coatings, but the underbody, suspension components, brake lines and exhaust are still steel and still exposed. Coastal vehicles and anything that sees salt water are where it still shows up.
It is quoted with the job rather than off a price list, because it depends on the vehicle. Ask us when you book and we will give you a number before anything is fitted.
Yes, and that is usually the sensible way to do it. If the car is already with us for a coating or tint, adding it does not cost you a second visit.
